Northumbrian beach lockdown/ Oil on stretched canvas

Painted in the studio in April of 2020, this is really meant to be an homage to the NHS and frontline careworkers (which included my wonderful daughter) struggling to cope with with the challenges of Covid-19 but eventually  emerging from the storm with light on the horizon.  I offered to return to work to try and help but my offer (probably correctly!) was politely declined.
